[My 50th post!!]

Today i am going to talk about the Summer Camp BBQ@Yogihouse!! It was the best BBQ i had ever attened! Everyone had fun! Okay. It was supposed to start at 6pm sharp. I arrived at around 5.30pm. Met Vanessa near Yogi's condo. Then we went in to the condo together. Found Yogi's house. Then waited for a while, and more people arrived!! Then we began the preparation for the BBQ. Helped out with filing up the drink dispenser, and carrying stuff. The the GG and BB people went to start the fire for BBQ. So i just do other things, since i dont know how to.. The BBQ began at around 6.15pm! Li Kai brought along his com, and we had the live broadcast online and also on msn with the Penang guys! It was super cool!! =) And we had a whole sea of orange! -- Everyone who went was wearing the camp tee! NHISC spirit!! YaY! Then the BBQ began! Uncle William was super uncle! Despite the fact that i am also called uncle, and he is younger than me(Sec 2), he was more uncle than me!! Hahas. Then he was imitating the broadcasters on Channel 5 and 8, and Yes 933. Hahas. Then we went to eat food. The very first round Yong Ernn and the other coaches were bbqing, then after that was our turn. Hahas. Bee Leng was saying that the first round of food was also cao ta.. Then our turn better.. And uncle William was super pro at bbqing mashmallow. Hahas. He was like helping and teaching us how to bbq. LoL. YaY! I enjoy the whole thing a lot. The sad thing is that i left at 9pm. =( Cos i have to reach home by 9.30pm. I♥Summer Camp! =) I look forward to the EOY bbq again! I think it is around November or December..

Got talk to me when i reached home that night. He said that he miss everyone. Yes, i also miss everyone from the Summer Camp! How i wish everything could rewind to 11 July 2008 and let tiem just stop there. Forever. And Got was looking for Ding Yi! I didnt have her number, and started asking around. Like rushing something that is due in 1 minute like that. Hahas. And finally i called through her house. Then i added her into the conversation, and i left. Shouldnt disturb them. Hahas.

Common Test is in TWO WEEKS time!! Time really flies very fast!!! I havent start any revision yet!!! And there are a lot of thing to revise also!!

The song that the thai students performed for assembly. I think the song is quite nice lah.. That why i put here to share. LoL. And 4 more days to this Saturday!! YaY!! This week still got Geog test on Friday. I havent study... =.= All on development. Today's lesson was so-so. Had the English test on proposal writing. Then was Biology SPA Practice 5. My 3 solutions are contaminated!! Resulting in inaccurate results.. So Miss Chng told me to change accordingly to get a nice curve. LoL. After recess was CEP. Had the discussion on CIP project, on raising funds for our current project? LoL. Then was Maths. Mrs BLim completed the chapter for EMaths Trigonometry. Then AMaths completely Chapter 11 soon. After lunch was Physics. On reflection. Ray diagrams and stuff. Then after schol stayed back for a while, and went home. Reached home about 4.30pm. Went to sleep. I was super tired these few days. I also dont know why. Woke up at about 7pm? Then i watched tv and had my dinner. And i am here now. Blogging. I had not done any homework yet.. Arh! Common test is in 3 weeks time! That's pretty fast. I think i better get started on homework, or else i would et scolded. Maybe i going Coach Yogi's blog first to figure out something.. Hahas..

Today is Racial Harmony Day! Some of the teachers came to school in various traditional costumes. Then there was the stalls setted up in the canteen for students to try. I never try. LoL. Today's lessons was a bit boring. I was almost falling asleep during Geog. And i dropped my handphone today!! Water went in. I dont know still can use or not. My mum ask me to ask my dad when he returns home tonight. So sad.. =( The handphone around 2 years and 2 months le bahh. I hope still can use!! Then this Wednesday going to Henry Park Primary for some small activities that we participated last year during the NACLI camp. What else happened in school today arh? Oh oh. Sec 2 CEP lesson was on Cyber Wellness. Ah ha. Went around to the classes to ensure that the club members can cope. Classes like 210 and 211 came up with very funny and interesting skits. It was so fun watching them present. I hope on the whole all the CEP lessons on Cyber Wellness are successful. Cos YiXie going through the survey forms last and this weekend. Hope all the comments are positive? Hmm.. Today got quite a number of homework to rush.. Tomorrow is the English proposal writing test, and Friday is the Geog Test on Development, which i havent study at all. And i totally forgotten how to read triangular graphs. =.=

Okay. I am going to talk about Summer Camp again. A lot of people are quite jealous when the summer campers mention about this. Today is the (wait arh, i check my calendar) 10 days since the closing ceremony! Time is really fast! Anyway, BBQ this saturday! Which is 1,2,3,4,5. 5 days away from today. Then that morning i going to make IC? Okay.. random. And Wednesday my birthday! Even more random. =o

Okay. Today i am going to post about what i learnt for Maths?! A bit LOL. Anyway, Mrs BLim told me to post about this.. So ya.. Anyway at the same time recap what i had learnt. Today's lesson was on Chapter 7: Trigonometry (EMaths). A few formulae to remember:-

(Applies to a Triangle with Angles A,B,C and sides a,b,c)
To find Area of triangle : ½ bc sin A
Sine Rule : (a/sinA) = (b/sinB) = (c/sinC)
Cosine Rule: a² = b² + c² - 2 bc cos A

And above are the rules for Trigonometry, Chapter 7, which is also going to be tested for Common Test 2. Well, Common Test is in around 3 weeks time! Time flies!! And after school was FPSP exam. On Northern Ireland. Still ok bahh. Then for Biology i was quite lost about the blood group thing.. What antigen and antibodies.. So confusing lahh. Then after the FPSP i helped Jingyi for the random cleanliness check. Hahas. There was one whole list of classes that got D grade. Still never change after the assembly talk.. LoL.

Summer Camp Maddness! Last Thursday, at this very time, was the campfire!! LoL. I missed the campfire quite a lot. Everyone was just so mad and crazy, running around and screaming and shouting and stomping and ... All these beautiful memories.. I cant wait to get to next Saturday for the BBQ at Coach Yogi's house!! =)

Oaky. School was super boring today. First was Chinese, which i almost fell asleep. Then was Chem. Mdm Tan started a new topic on energy changes. Then after recess was Social Studies. About Chapter 5, mantaining the racial harmony in Singapore. Then was was a sudden pre-test on 3D Trigonometry. Some of the questions a bit funny. Then last was English. Ms Edwards was not around. It could be because of her bad flu yesterday. And this morning there was a meeting council. Mr Ng and John announced those in Exco. Congrats to those people. Haiz.. I still got a lot of homework to rush. Especially Maths. MEs and stuff. Then tomorrow got Chinese and FPSP Exam. I havent study the words fot the Chinese test yet. Just hope that i can remember at by tonight!

I missed Summer Camp!! I could still remember clearly that last Wednsday, we were dragon-boating at this very hour! Then we going to Lao Pat Sat at night! Summer Camp!!Y How i wish time could rewind and stop there forever..

Fancyly blogging so late. I had quite a hard time catching up with all the lessons, since i wasnt in school for one whole week because of the Summer Camp. But i didnt regret going for it. The memories are still fresh in my mind! I was talking Toey just now! =) He said they would be having their mid-year papers tomorrow! Good Luck to them! Ya, as i was saying, i dont understand a single thing for the subjects at all. And during lunch, Coach Yogi and Lydia came to Nan Hua!! This resulted in qutie a lot of people crowding around them during lunch break. LoL. They said that there might be a gathering next saturday! Hahas. Then after school was Maths extra lesson for those of us who missed it last week. Eddy was like saying that this was the shortest extra lesson he had ever attended. Indeed! We covered last week's lessons in half an hour?! Ya! Super amazing. Then now i still got tons of homework to rush. I think i would be sleeping after completing my 生活随笔，leaving other homework for tomorrow. And tomorrow is O level Listen Compre! Good Luck people! Jiayous! And also jiayous for the thai kids for their Mid-Year papers!!

I am back from the Summer Camp! It was simply great! Everyone had smiles, laughs and tears. I cried a lot today.. I really miss all the foregin friends. I am in GROUP 5, and the group members are:

I reached the hostel - Sheares Hall! with Lynn at 2pm. Lynn's mum drove us there. We went to our own rooms to put our laguage and take a short break. The first group of students that arrived was the students from Penang, Malaysia. Following which, the students from Hong Kong arrived. We had some ice-breaker games first. Since it was only the starting of the camp, everyone is still reluctant to leave friends from their own school. However, we still had quite a lot of fun. Coach Lydia was super cool! =) After dinner was free and easy. Eddy and Li Kai came to my room. Eddy made some funny faces. And that was the end of Day 0. The students from Taiwan and China arrived at Shears Hall around 11+pm, while the Thailand students arrived around 4+am the next day. They took a bus ride from Thailand all the way down. it must be super tiring!

Day 1 (7 July 2008)
We went to school for opening ceremony. There was a band performance. It was very nice. Erm, actually nothing much to talk about the opening ceremony, cos like the normal stuff like GOH and Dr Foo talking. We went back to Sheares Hall to change. After which, we went to Sentosa to watch Song Of The Sea!! It was super super nice! We also went for a short night tour aroudn Sentosa.

Ding Yi was bonded with Got, and Siew Kiang was bonded with Sin. We were all learning Thai. I only managed to learn 1 to 5 in Thai. Very hard to teach you guys here. But if you are interested, feel free to come and fine me!! The night ended with everyone being quite tired!

Day 2 (8 July 2008)
It was a very tiring day. The day began with a amazing race. There are several checkpoints at the different stations to be completed. Groups are also required to find some special places in the area and take a group photo. We are allowed to travel to the places with the HIPPOtour!! =) Our group's starting point was at Chinatown. One of the challange was to go into a shop to try some traditional chinese costumes and take photo with it. Hahas. Everyone looked very funny. After one whole morning at Chinatown, we took the HIPPOtour to Little India for our lunch. It was my first time on borard HIPPOtour. We took the upstairs. It was super fun!! =)) The interesting part is that our lunch was at the carpark?! Anyway, it was a fun experience. We got a bit lost at Little India. There were 3 temples to fill in for the checkpoints, yet we only managed to find 1? So after spending a long long time at Little India, we decided to proceed on without completing all the tasks. We were rushing for time as we proceed on to Kampong Glam. We found the Sultan Mosque, and some singing and folding of the Malay rice cakes at the Malay Heritage Centre. The last stop for the Amazing race was the Botanic Gardens. We were rushing and rushing and rushing for time. But it was great!!! Group bonding! =) At night, we proceed to Orchard Road for shopping and dinner. And we got a bit lost there? Hahas. It was also Gavin's birthday. We bought a cake and celebrated with him together!! =)

Day 3 (9 July 2008)
We went to Toa Pahyoh for the Hearland Tour and to visit the showrooms for the HDB houses. Valerie and mine first reaction was: "Jie Jun!!!" Hahas. The hearland tour really enlightened both the forigen friends and us. We went to Kopitiam for soem fruits. LoL. Then we went to HDB Hub for the showrooms. The showrooms a bit fake, cos they "decorate"till very nice.. We took MRT back to Nan Hua. It was a great experience for the forigen friends as they learnt to buy tickets and feel how is it like on board public transport in Singapore. After lunch at Nan Hua, we went for DRAGON BBOATING!!!!! WHOOTS! Despite thelight drizzle, we continue the dragon boating activity at Kallay River. It was super fun! Everybody was splashing water. And phewing also. LoL. But it was great! =)) We all had lots and lots of fun! We all learnt how to dragon-boat! YaY! The night activity was Food Trail at Lao Pat Sat. We all tried different local food such as Satay and Chicken Rice. There was even a match-making session. LoL.


Day 4 (10 July 2008)
We went to school to attend assembly programme. The forigen students preformed! It was suepr cool! All the countries did their best!!! =) After lunch was Batik Painting. It refers to using wax to cover areas that you do not want and painting the areas that are not covered by wax. Well, my painting has got wax all over the place.... Hahas. After that we went to the auditorium to learn the Mass Dance!!! Hahas. The mass dance was quite fun! And after dinner was CAMPFIRE!! I was super high!!! Scream, shout, and the mass dance!!!! Wohoots! Since it was the last night, we took lots of photos and night. Lights out was at 2am!! Hahas. We played soem very interesting Thai and Hong Kong games. Since it was after Campfire and the last night, everyone was very HIGH! Photos!

Day 5 (11 July 2008)

Yesterday night too high, in the end this morning overslpet and lock myself out of the room. =.= Due to the bad whether, we cancelled the Kent Ridge Walk. We reached Nan Hua at around 11am. Since we have some time, lets take more photos!!

After which, we all stood in a circle around the auditorium, and began shaking or hugging each other. Almost everyone in the auditorium cried. I did. After lunch was the official closing ceremony. It was the saddest moment as the students form Thailand and Malaysia left half-way through the ceremony. And at 4pm sharp, the Hong Kong students left. The China and Taiwan students would be leaving tomorrow morning and afternoon respectively. During the closing ceremony, the Nan Hua students presented a song, singing and using sign language. It goes like this:

Friends you made me happy, bring sunshine to my life. A light of hope you always are, standing by me near and far. Lending me your shoulder, when i need to cry. You're always part of my life friends, forever in my heart. You're always part of my life friends, forever in my heart.

I think this song is really very meaningful. This camp really allowed me to know the importance of friendship. Although it is only 5 days, the friendship built would be forever. Good bye guys!! See you again soon!! I WOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER AS A CAMPER OF THE 3RD NAN HUA INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP 2008...

Wohoo! Today i went to school for Flag Day! It was quite fun actually. Weijia, Huijie and i in a group. We went to Bugis with quite a lot of people. At there, we splited up. Jie Jun, Daniel, Hadley and Yan Ru went to dont know where later, Xiu Huan, Sin Yi nd Jeanice went to Redhill, and Weijia, Huijie and i stayed at Bugis. Weijia was saying that the Malay community in Singapore are more friendly. Indeed, most of the people who donated are Malays. There are also some very cute children who came up to us. We stood near the bus-stop and MRT station. Whenever 960 came, there are sure a lot of people who donate. Therefore, Weijia call the "Friendly Bus - 960!" Hahas. Then there was this person who came up asking Huijie "What is this donation for?" Huijie said:" Its for SPCA." What is SPCA?" the guy asked again. "SPCA stands for Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals." Then the guy asked again:" Do you have the liecence?" Then Huijie showed him the liecence, then he donated. Is like - er - he wants to double check that the money he doanted reached SPCA? Or what? Anyway, we managed to clear one and a half sheet of stickers! Not bad, cos it was quite hard at first. Then we een count the numver of people who doante notes. Including Weijia herself, there are only 5 people who donated notes. But not bad le. Its our first time doing Flag day, so i think i quite happy with the results. Hahas. Then after everybody gattered in school, we went for lunch at Sumo House. This is myfirst time there. The food there nto bad lah, i ordered the fried rice thing, which i dont know what it is called in Japanese. Quite nice. After lunch of course go home liao lah. Reached home around 3.45pm. Switched on the computer, then did a bit of 小导游powerpoint. Then come here to blog. And i haven pack for my Summer Camp! The thoughts of Summer Camp make me very high! Hahas. The event all sounded quite fun!! But i will miss one whole week of lessons.=( That is the only sad thing. Okay. Shall end here. Should blog after the Summer Camp! =)

Today was a super stressed day. First thing in the morning - announcements. Then was briefing of CEP lesson for the lower sec teachers. Well, some teachers like mdm poon did not attend.. Fourth period was Biology SPA practice 4. It was on starch test on 2 different leaves. We had a swoop of classroom during the CEP lesson. We exchanged classroom with 308. Then was Maths. Mrs BLim completed the revision on mod. She would start trigonometry tomorrow. "We are all ready for common test, even if it is tomorrow!" she said. Well well, still got lots of MEs and TYS to do. Then was my chinese oral! I was super super scared! For the reading part, i kept pausing at the wrong parts. As for conversation, the question posted to me was “根据报章报道，有越来越多的中学生选择修读理工学院。谈谈你的看法。" I was totally stunned. My answers were all very qi guai.. Very afraid that i wont do well... Haiz. Since it is already over, i think i ould just forget it. Then Mrs Chiang also told me and yixie to create a blog for the JTDP project. Well, i created already. But no post yet. Today was super stressed up for me. Haiz.. Better go and do my tons of homework now..
