Finally the end of Mid-Year Exams. The end of torture. It had days and days of torture. 2 subjects each day. I was super stressed. Finally. It ended with a VERY BAD DAY. Should evaluate each subject individually..
Elementary Maths. The very first subject. It was said to boost our morel, which is totally not true. It was one of the toughest paper. Got a number of marks deducted already. I think the paper is to make us think that the Mid-Year is the start of the real torture. The graph question was super hard. Super. Mrs BLim told us this paper is made to make us score 75/80. Wow. How interesting. Wait another 10 years and I still cant achieve it.
English. As long as i pass i happy already. But that still cant save myself for CA1, which i failed. Haiz. The passage was about Miss World, and how the women's rights have changed throughout the centuries. I anyhow did the vocab part. And that is what i do always.
Biology. Nothing much to say about. Most of the questions are rather tricky. SEQ was on diffusion and osmosis, photosynthesis and one which i cant remember now. I think the MCQs was rather hard. And some of the questions a bit funny?
Physics. Aiya. One of the papers which i flunked. Totally dont know how to do most of the questions. Especially moments. I only remembered the definations. But only 1 was tested. I did the Either question for SEQ. A funny ladder question. At the last few minutes, i just anyhow draw the graphs and write zeros for my answers. My score would also be zero. =.=
Higher Chinese. The cloze passage and Part I comprehension chose some answers which i think was correct. But in the end all turned out to be wrond when i check answer with JieJun and Yeeling. Quite depressing. Just hope for the best for summary and comprehension open-ended.
Chemistry. I think is the easiest paper among the three sciences. The MCQ was rather tricky again. As for the mole concept questions, most of them i anyhow do. Did question 11 for the choice. The question on chewing gum is rather funny.. My answer wrong lah..
Combined Humanities (Social Studies). Source-based questions was on NHS. The success and limitations of the poilcies implemented. For Structured-essay, i did the one on Conflicts in Northern Ireland. Cos that was the only content i studied, and Sri Lanka.
Additional Maths. I totally flunked the paper. Left lots and lots and lots and lots of blanks. Thousands of marks gone like that just because i cant do the first part. Stupid setter. And the logs and simultaneous equations and alpha and beta and coordinate geomentary and indicies and polynomials and partial fractions. Sian. I am just stupid. My Maths marks are always not consistant. Definatly scolded by Mrs BLim for getting such a score. I do hope to at least get a pass.
Combined Humanities (Geography Elective). I think it is okay, except that i dont have enought time to complete. Too much things to say and talk about just to get that 1 mark. Had to draw the sructure of tropical monsoon forest. I cant complete the LORMS question, asking us to talk about the measures taken and their effectiveness. 4 policys leh! A lot to write. So in the end i only wrote the key points. And not in proper English. Hope to earn the points.
Will be having 5 days of free days including weekends. WoW! 6 days of total stress and 5 days of total freedom. I think the school have serious management problem. Dont know how to assign their time well. Finally end of Mid-Year. Definately not going to score well this time round. Super sad. Why are the school stressing us like that? Haiz....
After school went bowling. Only 4 people played. JieJun(aka KFC, Kelly Fan Club), WeiQi, Eunice(aka Euyixie, Lover of Yixie) and Jeanice. After all one game i went to changed their scores. All scored 270. And JieJun 290! Haha. So funny!
